Meet the Teacher
My name is Mrs. Sherry Wilmer and I am one of the 7th grade intervention specialists. I have taught at the middle school and high school levels for 21 years and was also a supervisor for student teachers at Kent State University. This will be my sixth year at Louisville Middle School. I am very excited to be your teacher and help you grow as a student.
My husband and I have been married for 27 years and have two sons. Our older son is a super-senior at the University of Akron majoring in Mechanical Engineering. He plays trumpet for their marching band and enjoys fencing. Our younger son is a freshman at the University of Akron and is studying Computer Science. He plays trumpet in the University Marching Band and caught the fencing bug from his older brother. This is our first year as Empty Nesters. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with friends and family, swimming, playing card and board games, and reading. I love being a Louisville Leopard!
