Good Morning! I hope you are all staying warm!
The midterm will be the day we get back from break, whether it is Friday or Monday. Students have 2 worksheets we did in class, a list of the topics on the midterm and number of questions from each section, and may have 1 page of notes they use on the midterm.
There are 3 files attached below:
#1 The list of Midterm Exam Topics and the number of questions from each section on the midterm.
#2 On Monday and Tuesday, Mr. Miglich worked example problems on the board and suggested students write them down on the back of the "Midterm Exam Topics" sheet. Students may use one sheet of notes, in their handwriting, when taking the exam. (ie "cheat sheet") The 2nd attached document are the notes I took during this time. Your child may copy my notes, or update their notes, to use on the exam.
#3 A list of integer rules. Students may not use a calculator on about 10 problems on the midterm; these problems involve integers and fractions. I would suggest students add these rules to their notes if they do not know these rules.
Finally, I suggest students watch the videos below "Graphing Linear Equations - You Tube", "Distributive Property with Combining Like Terms", and "Solving for X".
If you have any questions, please let me know and .... stay warm!!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Wilmer
